As they are equipped only with magnetic trip units, they must be combined with suitable thermal protection.

The Compact NS80H-MA circuit breaker: provides high performance protection against short circuits is suitable for isolation as defined by IEC 60947-2 standard (disconnector function). For a complete protection of the motor and its starter, the Compact NS80H-MA must be combined with a relay for overload protection. Operating Mechanisms, Disconnect Switches, and Door-Closing Mechanisms

The DPNa Vigi residual current device provides complete protection of final circuits (overcurrents and insulation faults): protection of people against electric shocks by direct contacts (10 and 30 mA), protection of people against electric shocks by indirect contacts (300 mA), protection of installations from fire hazards (300 mA).
