ITE Electric Group is a Singapore public listed company. Founded in 1982 and listed in 1994, ITE Electric's principal activity is a wholesaler of electrical distribution and control products. Through its subsidiaries and associates, the ITE Electric Group offers a comprehensive range of electrical installations materials in Singapore, Malaysia and other export markets.
Electech Distribution Systems companies are subsidiaries operating in Singapore and Malaysia. They act as agents for a number of international companies whose sales programmes are also in the electrical distribution and control field. Sharpe Electrical Controls provides the Group with a design and assembly service for electrical distribution panels in Singapore.
ITE Electric Group operates a factory in Malaysia, which manufactures and assembles products for sale under the companies of ITE Electric Group, as well as supplying the Group's European principals with products for their marketing programme.
The Group also has interests in Kroning & Roth in Germany. This company holds some of the agencies marketed by the Electech companies as well as providing a valuable service in linking with both manufacturers and marketing trends. Similarly, the group holds an interest in Sharpe (UK).
